Pre-born Nostalgia

This installation is messier and more chaotic than your typical pristine clean art gallery.
It involved showing Vaporwave videos on retro TV sets, which contained many images from the very early childhoods of my generation. The images are delightful, but uncanny, fun and colourful but also deeply consumerist and commercial. This brings about a sense of nostalgia for memories that aren't quite your own. 
The other main element is the child's Vanity desk, set up like a shrine. There are hints of death within the children's toys.
We are born, we consume, we get attached to things that we can't take with us when we die.
