I have remixed sampled sounds and taken popular music. I slow it down , to a drone like pace. This is vaporwave. This is plunderphonics. It's ghostly, uncanny, slow but chaotic.

Plunderphonics is a concept that is very much linked to Vaporwave because it is about taking sampled sounds from various sources, including other music, and making a new song.

I wouldn't call my sounds “music” even though I try to create some sort of pattern or rhythm. It would rather be called “sound art” or a “sound scape”. Much like EDM, what I make could be considered an insult to “music”.
