Musical Toys

Modified, circuit bent, altered children's toys. Can music be made from these? or just an array of strange noise

Musical Toys: News

"music" and "sound - scapes" have been made using children's toys and modified instruments. They can be heard on my bandcamp.

Youtubers for example. “LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER” (Furby Organ) “Switch & Lever” (intro into circuit bending) “Simon The Magpie” and Michael Reeves have had an influence on my work. The creative platform has many inspiring and technical tutorials made by creative people. My work has an amateur look, and these professional armatures are enjoyable to watch.

The furby organ is absolutely mad and I can only aspire to create something on that level. It can be seen here: https://youtu.be/GYLBjScgb7o

I aim for my toys to contain music with a bit of screaming insanity, and these great men are good creators to look up to in that respect.
